I love to catch expressions in my sketches. I've been drawn to the bright colors and vitality of the business women of Colombia. They sell fruit to tourists, and have been the subject of many photos of the area. The represent, to me, the deep rooted culture of women running their own business in a rich culture where women must sometimes struggle for independence and autonomy. It seems like an amazing community of women.
