Duwamish Ancestors in the Forests of Puget Sound is a digital remix of a photo I took from the window of my seat on the Train from Seattle to Portland. I've seen vintage photos of the First Nations peoples relegated to small patches of land, moved out to Snohomish land. After editing the photo I noticed that it almost looked like there were human forms in the forests along the Sound. It made me think of the Ancestors.
