Part of my "Cyber Sculpture" series. This began as a collage of my original images. Some in the series began as soft or oil pastels, others of color pencil, both wax and clay. They were done by either hand or digital, or both. Some of the collage pieces of this were done by hand - color pencil. I scanned it, and then played around with it digitally. This one came full circle. I ended it by hand painting the shadows and highlights. It was almost as much fun as sculpting, only a lot less messy. *smile* Putting one the highlights by hand also gave me a way to really give the impression of texture. Contouring, rendering high contrast images in a variety of mediums has alway been one of my favorite art techniques. I like the fact that it can be printed out as large as 30" X 34" inches.
