These Mandalas and "Cyber Sculptures" are digitaly altered verions of my originl artwork. It's interesting how the original medium, pastel, painting, colored pencils and smooth or textured paper effects each piece so differently. You might still be able to catch a glimpse of the original artwork. Mile Davis's sax, the outline of a face. But over all, the works have taken on a life of their own. Kind of like the way weaving the "Bluenote" to folk music gave birth to the Blues. Or adding an electric guitar and drums turned Gospel into Rock N Roll. Or adding the Blue Note and a stiff drink to Marching Band planted the seed that blossomed into Ragtime.
